The "Belt and Road" Forum on Big-health & International Symposium on Recombinant Collagen was successfully held at the Palace Garden Hotel and Resorts in Beijing from August 21-22, 2023.
The delegation from the Egyptian Bureau for Cultural, Educational and Scienctific Affairs in the Egyptian Embassy in China, led by Counsellor Omayma Ghanem Zaidan visited Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, to enhance the collaboration in education, science and technology on August 26.
The 11th meeting of ISO/TC 281 “Fine bubble technology” was held from April 21st to 23rd. It was originally scheduled to be held in Indonesia and moved to online video conference due to the spread of COVID 19.
IPE has been long dedicated to international collaboration and academic exchange. It is well connected with the world and has developed short- or long-term partnership with many world well-known institutions /universities or enterprises of 30+ countries/regions. Many IPE scientists hold important positions in international organizations, and a number of international conferences has been hosted.
There are many distinguished foreign scientists that collaborated very closely with IPE researchers and made remarkable contribution and important achievements. In order to honor those eminent foreign experts who have made outstanding contributions to facilitating cooperation with IPE in science and technology, in an attempt to encourage more efforts in this respect that will strengthen our science and technology innovation capacity, Awards for International Scientific Cooperation were granted to them, by CAS, the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs or the Ministry of Science and Technology.
The CAS President’s International Fellowship Initiative, PIFI, is a specific funding program to attract talented foreigners to Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) for scientific exchanges and research cooperation. It is open to scientific research personnel from around the globe, of seven types. The Institute of Process Engineering, CAS welcomes scientists who want to visit or work short- or long-term.
