On April 24, 2026, Professor Jean-Marie Tarascon of the Collège de France, a globally renowned expert in battery materials and electrochemical energy storage, visited the Institute of Process Engineering (IPE) at the invitation of the institute and participated as a guest speaker in the “Process Engineering High-End Forum”. Professor Tarascon delivered an academic report titled “From Materials–Electrolyte and Sensing Innovations to New Sustainable Battery Chemistries”, sharing cutting-edge achievements in high-capacity lithium-rich cathode materials, solid-state lithium batteries, and sodium-ion batteries, and engaged in in-depth exchanges with those present. After the session, LI Chunshan, Vice Director of IPE presented Tarascon with a certificate of appreciation in recognition of his insightful presentation.
