Shanghai International Studies University has launched a trilateral cooperation studies center promoting study of cooperation and development between China, Japan and the Republic of Korea (ROK).
The center will work as a platform to strengthen cooperation and exchanges among the three countries’ universities and research bodies.
“It will further increase connections between the universities and institutes from China, Japan and the ROK. Through frequent academic exchanges, innovative research and training, it will make a contribution to cultural exchanges and the development of diplomatic relations in these three countries,” said Cao Deming, president of the university.
So far, the university has established long term partnerships with about 20 high-level universities from Japan and the ROK. Based on the academic advantages of the university, the center will integrate resources and form a professional team to carry out a series of studies and programs.(Chinadaily)
