Based on the long-term cooperation between the Institute of Process Engineering (IPE) and the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), the Sino-Danish Center for Sustainable Process Engineering was inaugurated on July 2, 2019. The Center is committed to the sustainable development of green technology research and education cooperation, training first-class international talents, development of breakthrough technology, and to build a bridge of cooperation in science, education and industry for both China and Denmark.

Since 1986, IPE and DTU have been carrying out exchanges and cooperation. Up to 2019, the two sides have successfully developed three cooperative models of jointly education of postgraduate students, with a total of 102 master students and 43 doctoral students. In the future, relying on the Center, the two sides will further innovate cooperation models, expand research areas and jointly cope with the huge energy and environmental challenges faced by the world today.
