Chemical Engineering
Prof. Suojiang Zhang was elected as a Member of CAS in 2015. He is the dean of College of Chemical Engineering, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC).
Prof. Zhang’s research interests focus on green chemistry and process engineering. He is dedicated to promoting innovation and application of Ionic Liquids (ILs) in green process engineering and has achieved groundbreaking results. He has published over 500 peer-reviewed articles such as Chem. Rev., Nat. Comm., Angew., JACS, and ect., authored 10 monographs and granted more than 130 patents. Till now, his publications have received more than 19000 citations with an H-index of 79 (Google Scholar). He has also won several academic awards, such as the Second Class Prize of National Natural Science Award, the Hou Debang Chemical Science and Technology Outstanding Achievement Award, and the Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation Science and Technology Progress Awards. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Green Energy & Environment, Green Chemical Engineering and Process Engineering Journal of China.
