Resume

Prof. Zheng Shili, male, born in May 1974, is a doctoral supervisor at the Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 1994 and 1997, he graduated from the Central South University of Technology (renamed Central South University) with a bachelor's degree and a master's degree. In 2000, he got his doctoral degree from the Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IPE, CAS), and then continued his work career at IPE, CAS. In 2007, he visited the Department of Metallurgical Engineering of the University of Utah as a senior visiting scholar for one year. He has served as the deputy director of the National Engineering Laboratory of Cleaner Production Technology of Hydrometallurgy, an editorial member of the journal of Hydrometallurgy, a member of the academic committee of the Rare Metal Metallurgy, Metallurgical Reaction Engineering of the Chinese Society of Nonferrous Metals, a member of the academic committee of the Physical Chemistry Branch of the Metallurgical Process, Metallurgical Solid Waste Resources Utilization of the Chinese Society of Metals, etc. He was awarded the "National WR Plan" and the "Ministry of Science and Technology Promotion Talent Plan", also won the Young Scientist Award of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and was appointed as a distinguished researcher of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

He mainly focuses on the research of clean technology with pollution source reduction, secondary resource recycling and engineering applications, particularly on the fundamental research and application development of the efficient and clean utilization of metal resources involving vanadium, titanium, chromium, lithium, etc. He has developed several cleaner technologies, some of which have been achieved 10kt/a scale demonstration. He won a second prize of the National Technological Invention Award, two first prizes and two second prizes of the provincial and ministerial level award. He has published more than 260 academic papers (including more than 100 SCI papers), applied for more than 120 invention patents (more than 90 were granted, including an international patent), co-authored 4 monographs (chapters). He is in charge of more than 20 projects supported by the National Key Research and Development Program, National 863 Program, National Science and Technology Support, National 973 Program, National Natural Science Foundation of China, Key Deployment Projects of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and enterprises.
