Resume

Zhao Bing, PhD, Professor, doctoral supervisor, major in Biochemical Engineering. In 1986, he graduated from Chengdu University of Science and Technology (now Sichuan University). In the same year, he was recommended to enter the Institute of chemical metallurgy, Chinese Academy of Sciences (now the Institute of Process Engineering, IPE-CAS) for a master's degree. He graduated in 1989 and worked in the Institute. In 2000, he received a Doctor's Degree in Chemical Engineering. In 2006, he served as a Professor and doctoral supervisor. He mainly engaged in the utilization of special biological resources and the development of functional products, which include the large-scale breeding of special plant resources, the quality evaluation of chemical and DNA fingerprints, the new technologies for the extraction, concentration and drying of natural products and their integration, the components and efficacy relationship, dosage and efficacy relationship and structural modification of natural products, quality standards, functional food and pharmaceutical raw materialsthe comprehensive utilization of waste biological resources. Responsible for and participated in dozens of national key R & D programs, National 863 projects, major and important directional projects of knowledge innovation projects of CAS, National Natural Science Foundation of China, local government projects, international cooperation and enterprise cooperation projects, etc.

At present, he is a member of Academic Degree Committee and Engineering Technology Committee of IPE-CAS, a evaluation expert for the national and provincial talent, science and technology project, a reviewer and editorial board member of international and domestic journals and a consultant for the local government in science, technology and industry development. He has published more than 200 papers at home and abroad (more than 60 included in SCI), applied for more than 90 patents (more than 70 authorized patents), presided over and participated in the formulation of the local government and military food related standards. In 2014, he won the second prize of science and technology progress of Hebei Province (ranking No. 4). In 2018, he won the excellent award of the 20th China Patent Award (ranking No. 1). More than 10 registered scientific and technological achievements have been obtained. A number of the achievements have been industrialized, and good economic, social and environmental benefits have been achieved. Under his guidance 15 master's students and 10 doctoral students have graduated.
