Resume

Xuehai Yan is a full professor at the Institute of Process Engineering (IPE), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He obtained his PhD degree at the Institute of Chemistry, CAS in 2008. He then moved to the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces in Germany for postdoctoral research as an Alexander von Humboldt fellow. In 2013, he became a professor at IPE, CAS. There he is vice director at the State Key Laboratory of Chemical Engineering and the Center of Mesoscience. His research interests are focused on peptide self-assembly and engineering, mesoscale mechanisms, supramolecular colloids and nanodrugs, as well as cancer phototherapy and immunotherapy. He serves as editors and advisory board members for several international journals.
