Resume

Li Huiquan has been a Professor of the Institute of Process Engineering (IPE), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) since 2008. He is State Department special allowance experts for the contribution to the development of green chemical engineering and circular economy technology process industry. He is deputy director of National Engineering Laboratory for Hydrometallurgical Cleaner Production Technology,  Director of Resource and Environmental Research Department of IPE and Circular Economy Technology Center of IPE. He is also the chairman of Professional Committee of Solid Waste in Transactions of Nonferrous Metals Society of China. His main research interests include green catalysis and high-valued conversion of CO2, hydrometallurgical clean technology and material engineering, high value-added utilization and pollution control of industry solid residua, strategic metal refinement utilization of urban mineral resources, system integration and ecological industry in chemical or metallurgical industry. He proposed the method of mild separation of active components and coordinated control of mineral structure, and formed the research direction of basic research, application and industrialization. 

His researches supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China, Science and Technology Service Network Initiative Project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, National Key R&D Program of China, and so on. He has more than 150 papers published and 100 patents filed, several demonstration projects have been completed that service for the sustainable development on circulation economy and energy saving and emission reduction of process industry. He was awarded for the National Technological Innovation of China in 2005, honored with Distinguished Young Scholars of CAS in 2009, and winners of Ten Thousand Talent Program in 2018.
