Resume

Yi Nie is a Professor in Institute of process engineering, and “Recruitment of Outstanding Technologist” of Chinese academy of science of. She received her PhD in chemical engineering from Beijing University of Chemical Technology in 2007. She worked as a Professor in Institute of process engineering, Chinese academy of science after she finished her postdoc in 2013. Her research direction is the design of functionalized ionic liquid and its green process development, and her research interests mainly focus on designing novel ionic liquids to dissolve wool keratin/cellulose and spinning them into filaments, setting up dry-jet wet-spinning devices, and fabricating new carbon nano-conductive fiber based on ionic liquids and product development. She is responsible for a number of projects such as the National Key R&D Program of China, the sub-project of 973 program, and the National Natural Science Foundation of China. She is also responsible for 8 horizontal projects as leader, for example, the development of ionic liquid dissolving cellulose spinning pilot technology, the preparation of carbon nanotube/polyester conductive fiber, and the product development of electric heating pad based on the conductive fiber. She has published more than 80 papers in international academic journals, including Green Chem, Ind Eng Chem Res, Energy Fuels, Fuel, ACS Sustainable Chem Eng, etc. She also applied for more than 30 invention patents, including 10 authorized patents, and 6 patents have been allowed to enterprises to implement applications. She participated in 2 scientific and technological achievements appraisal, and won 1 scientific and technological advancement award of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (6th place). She was awarded the honor of introducing outstanding technical talents by the Chinese academy of science and outstanding individual for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements of the provincial academy cooperation.
