Resume

Prof. Dr. Weigang Zhang, who was born in 1968, Shouguang/ Shandong of China,. He got his Bachelor (BS) and Master (MS) Degree from Liaoning University of Science & Technology in 1988 and 1992, respectively. He got his PhD from the Institute of Metal Research (IMR-CAS) in 1998. After then, he studied and carried out research in the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT) at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) Germany till to 2004. He was engaged as a professor in the Institute of Process Engineering (IPE-CAS) as a member of Talents Plan/CAS and teaching professor at the university of CAS and Chinese University of Science and technology. He focuses on studies of ceramics fibers of SiC and BN, and other high temperature composite materials, chemical reaction technology of dispersed micro scale materials, thermal spray and functional coatings. He published more than 120 research papers and a book of "Chemical Vapor Deposition".
