Resume

Yang Yafeng, Ph.D., professor. Overseas high-level talent project. Obtained the PhD degree from Jilin University in 2009. From 2009 to 2013, worked as postdoctoral in the School of Mechanical and Mineral Engineering, University of Queensland. Worked as researcher at the Additive Manufacturing Center of The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in 2014. Worked at the Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2015.

Engaged in fundamental research and engineering practice in powder processing and its near-net shape manufacturing. Especially in enhanced sintering of Ti alloy with rare earth, high densification pressure-free sintering of Ti alloy, 3D printing of light metal and ceramic and so on. Published more than 60 SCI articles in mainstream journals such as Carbon, Scr.Mater, Addit.Manufact, J.Am.Ceram.Soc, Metall.Mater.Trans.A, etc. Invited to write 2 chapters for the "Titanium Powder Metallurgy" published by Elsevier. And more than 10 authorized technical invention patents.

Presided over more than 20 domestic and foreign projects such as Overseas High-level Talent Project; National Natural Science Foundation of China; Key Program of Frontier Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences; Key Projects of International Cooperation of Chinese Academy of Sciences; Sub-projects of the National Key Program; Australian Research Council Discovery Early Career Research Award; ARC Postdoctoral Research Fellowship. Member of Powder Metallurgy Branch of Chinese Society of Metal. Member of the Chairman of the TMS Powder Processing Forum. Served as an editorial board member of Advanced Powder Materials. Won the National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Nomination Award; The First Prize of Technical Invention of the Chinese Particle Society; The Outstanding Postdoctoral Fellow of the Australian Research Council, The Outstanding Young Scholar and the Humboldt Fund of Germany.
