Resume

Cao Hongbin, male, born in 1971, doctoral supervisor. He worked in the Institute of process engineering Chinese Academy of Sciences since got PhD of Tianjin University in 2001. He mainly engaged in the whole process control of industrial pollution research. The integrated control technology system of the whole process of industrial pollution based on multi process optimization and integration has been constructed. He solved the technical problem of deep separation of complex components. Toxic pollutants can be detoxified safely. His technologies have been expanded in coal chemical industry, nonferrous metal industry, iron and steel industry. More than 100 demonstration projects have been completed. Remarkable economic, environmental and social benefits have been achieved.

His research achievements won the second prize of national technological invention in 2013 and the second prize of national scientific and technological progress in 2018, one special prize of association and four first prizes of province / Ministry / Institute / Association.

He was supported by the national fund for Distinguished Youth in 2014. He was granted special allowance by the State Council in 2015 and won Guanghua Engineering Science and Technology Award - Youth Award in 2016. He has published more than 300 papers in accounts of chemical research, Journal of the American Chemical Society and other journals. More than 90 invention patents have been authorized. 47 master and doctoral students have been trained.

He is deputy director of National Engineering Laboratory of hydrometallurgy cleaner production technology, director of Beijing Engineering Research Centre of Process Pollution Control, director of CAS data center of chemistry and chemical engineering, chairman of Metallurgical Environment Committee of Environmental Protection Industry Association, deputy director of Engineering Technology Committee, Process Engineering Research Institute CAS and the expert in charge of major landmark achievements of "major special project of water pollution control and treatment technology" (responsible for Industry). He is also the vice chairman of the editorial board of industrial water treatment and the editorial board of Journal of Environmental Sciences and green chemical engineering.
