Resume
Hongyan He received her Ph. D degree in Applied Chemistry at the Institute of Process Engineering (IPE), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 2014. She was a visiting scholar at the University of Wyoming, working with Prof. Maohong Fan. She was elected as a member of the Youth Innovation Promotion Association of CAS in 2016 and received the CAS Science and Technology Promotion and Development Prize in 2017 and Houdebang Science and Technology Award for Young Talent in 2019. She also serves on the Youth Editorial Boards of Green Energy & Environment, Progress in Chemistry and Acta Physico-Chimica Sinica. Her current research interests focus on 1) theoretical studies of the structure and properties of functionalized ionic liquids, including bulk phase and interfacial ionic liquids, and 2)fundamental investigations of lignin depolymerization and CO2 conversion based on ionic liquids.
