He was elected as a Member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2025. His research interests focus on foundation research and application of multiphase reactor engineering. He developed the digital scale-up technology of multiphase reactors by integrating mathematical models, algorithms and measurement techniques applied in petrochemicals, electronic-grade chemicals and aerospace solid propellant materials.
