Abstract:
The talk will overview the development of cancer nanomedicines, discuss the translational efforts and introduce a few nanomedicine platform technologies developed in the research lab.
About the speaker:
Dr. Xiuling Lu, Ph.D. from the National Key Lab of Biochemical Engineering, Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences; Postdoc at the University of Kentucky with a prestigious Benedict Cassen Post-Doctoral Fellowship Award; Research Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; Assistant Professor at the University of Connecticut; now Associate Professor (with tenure). Her research is supported by NIH, American Cancer Society, NSF, FDA etc.. Due to excellent research contribution, she received Early Career Award in 2016 from American Association of University Professors-UConn Excellence in Research and Creativity.
