    Title:An editor's perspective to publishing at Nature journals

    About the speaker:

    Dr Amos Matsiko is a Research Consultant and Associate Editor at Nature Materials, part of Nature Publishing Group. Amos completed his PhD and Post-doctoral research at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in the field of Biomedical Engineering and also carried out Industrial Research with Integra Lifesciences Ltd.

    At Nature Materials, he is responsible for the broad field of Bioengineering encompassing biomaterials development, drug delivery, biomarker sensors, tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. Amos is based in London, UK.

    In his presentation entitled 'An editor's perspective to publishing at Nature journals', Amos will give an overview of the journals within the Nature family highlighting the differences between them. He will talk about some editorial policies and also provide a summary of some guidelines to consider when preparing manuscripts for submission as well as the steps in the peer-review process at Nature Materials.
