  • NSFC Launches 2011 Funding Declaration

The application of Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) funding has opened and the deadline will be March 20th, 2011. A kick-off meeting on the NSFC Funding application of Institute of Process Engineering (IPE) was successfully held on Dec 28th, 2010.

Professor Zhang Suojiang, director of IPE, presided at the meeting while academician Li Hongzhong and other 130 researchers attended the meeting. Experts explained the policy adjustments and shared experience on the funding application at the meeting.

Zhang made a summary of NSFC work of 2010 and proposed the requirements for 2011 application. He pointed out that IPE had made great progress in 2010, especially the approval of the Special Projects Funding for Basic Research on Scientific Apparatus “three-liquid-phase continuous extraction device and compatible automatic process control systems” firstly broke the ice on this area. And China National Funds for Distinguished Young Scientists was sponsored again after four years’ absence.
