In 2008, the 3rd year of Phase III of Knowledge Innovation Program ofChinese Academy of Sciences, new achievements and progresses have been attained in various fields owing to the joint efforts of whole staff, postgraduates (postdoctoral) and retired employees. To further carry forward our achievements,sum up our experience, unite peoples,struggle forward harmoniously, leaders in Party and Administration decided to select “Top 10 Events of 2008” across the whole Institute (in the order of time of occurrence).
