With the aim of developing cleaner technologies for conversion and utilization resources, taking ionic liquids(ILs) green material as the research core, we focus on the key scientific problems of structure-property relationship, molecule design, large-scale preparation, scale up and system integration of ionic liquids by original innovation of process-unit-system. A first set of large scale preparation process of ILs has been established. To date, the ILs products have been applied by more than 100 users around the world. We have developed several cleaner and energy saving processes, such as MMA (Methyl methacrylate), EG (ethylene glycol) and de-acidification from lube base oil. A R&D platform of ILs clean technology has been built to promote the original innovation,integrated innovation and engineering innovation of ILs.
