Oct 22, Beijing, Dr. Paul Clifford, executive director of US Florida Institute of Phosphate Research, led 3-people delegation to IPE for academic visit. Professor Yunfa Chen, Dr Tingyu Zhu from IPE and Professor Bin Guo from Hebei University of Science and Technology attended the meeting.
In the meeting, Dr Paul Clifford gave a brief introduction about FIPR, especially on team building and prospective while Dr. Brian Birky and Dr Patrick Zhang detailed FIPR’s achievements in applications of phosphogypsum in their reports. Later, IPE and FIPR signed a MOU to consent a long-term cooperation on gypsum solid wastes treatment.
