Feb 1, 2010, Beijing—2009 IPE Annual Meeting was held in the new IPE Building. More than 800 IPE people attended the meeting. 

　　In his report, Professor Suojiang Zhang, executive deputy director, summarized the inspiring achievements in new infrastructure building, team building, research funding, reforms and research papers and patents that IPE had made in 2009. When planning for 2010, Professor Zhang talked about the challenges in raised expenses, major project management, personnel management. And he emphasized that development of IPE shall serve both the growth of our country and each IPE people. His speech inspired the audience greatly. In the end, IPE management sent their warm greetings and best wishes in the coming new years to all the IPE people.
