Scientists and engineers from China and Japan made deep cooperation in plasma from Oct 8 to 10 in Beijing by attending the 4th International Workshop on Plasma Scientech for All Something (Plasas-4) organized by the Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IPE-CAS).

Exchanging academic information on plasma science and technology and their applications, promoting plasma science and technology and collaborating in research projects were involved in the workshop. Prof. YUAN Fangli from IPE, the chair and Akatsuka Hiroshi from Tokyo Institute of Technology, the co-chair of Plasas-4 delivered speeches at the opening ceremony of the workshop. Researchers showed their achievements and progress by oral presentation. They also discussed their scientific and technological viewpoints, suggestions and comments.

The International workshop on plasma scientech is intended to well bridge internationally-acting scientists and engineers by exchanging research ideas, presenting new findings and introducing research projects for cooperation.
